About this test site

Purpose

The proof site is a fixed, tiny, public target for automated tests of the SEO OS crawler and page observer. Using a purpose-built site means no real client website is crawled while the crawler is being proven, and the expected answers can be written down before the test runs.

What it never does

The site does not sell anything, does not describe a real business, does not collect personal data and does not run any script in the browser. It is hosted as static files, so it has no database and no login.

Changes

The pages change only when the test set changes. Each change is rebuilt from a script, so the same inputs always produce the same files.
